Eric Laplante is a Director of Photography based out of New York City, and has been shooting there and elsewhere for over ten years. He works on a wide variety of projects, whether they are documentary, narrative, commercial, or anything in between. Films that he has shot have been shown at numerous film festivals around the country, including SXSW and Slamdance. He is always interested in collaborating on new projects. He recently completely work as a first time feature film director with his co-writer/director Susie Moon on a sci-fi comedy called Darla In Space.
Eric also directs and edits. Examples of his work as a cinematographer, director, and/or editor can be found throughout this site. He is part of the three-headed directing team Calyer Creative: www.calyercreative.com. Their work has been part of both national and regional campaigns, and been honored with Tellys and a regional Emmy.
